I'm in Taupo. I have only been lurking a few weeks so far, but I think I have seen some other Aucklanders posting on here and some from Wellington. Not overly helpful to me, but you might find a few near you :)

I know this isn't a super active group, but my best friend moved from the US to New Zealand last fall, and I'm planning a trip out in May. Do you guys have any suggestions for places I should visit or do while I'm there? She lives on the South Island if that helps.
