This book was written by a local Knoxville author and friend of mine. Her first book Some Days There's Pie, was good but this one I could not put down. It is set in North Knoxville and is about a farming family who is displaced by the building of the Norris Dam. It has such and East tennessee feel to it. A good read.

I am going to the store today to look for it! My dad and his entire family are from Clinton and we have lots of family in Knoxville. I may even get my dad a copy too! Thanks for the post, never would have known about it otherwise!
