I agree, Cecile is the epitome of a bratty child who begs for her needy father, to provide attention. Her father is a reminder of a man who lost a sense of belonging with the progression of life. Cecile, is like the young version of what he probably was as a young man. I think the step-mother is characterized as society looking down on the "free" living. Very well written.


Salo I've just finished reading, it's short and sweet story. I liked it, and recomendet it to everyone :)
