After some discussion on the date, me and Cathie decided to start the buddy read December 9th, I'm very happy you can join us :), there is a thread for this buddy read in the section :)
Tessa, anyone can suggest a book for a buddy read. If you find someone to read with you (just one person needed), decide on a date and then start a thread (take a look at the other buddy read threads for suggestions).
I will then add it to the buddy reads calender.
I will then add it to the buddy reads calender.
Ok so, anyone wants to read with me one of these books?
Let me know :) .
@Edit: I'm very curious about Lauren DeStefano's new series, The Internment Chronicles. Just recieved a copy for my kindle and I'm eager to try it. She's a good author, just sucks a little at world building. She choosed a very complex subject in The Chemical Garden, but I want to give her another chance before deciding she's no good.
So, adding Perfect Ruin to the buddy list.
Anyone wants to try this?
The cover is lovely, as always :).

[bookcover:Sorta Like a Rock S..."I would be interested in Anna Karenina or Wuthering Heights, both have been on my to-read list forever!
Cinzia and Adrienne, you are most welcome to join the buddy read, there is a thread on this buddy read in this section :)
@ Melissa: That sounds great. We can start with this on the 1st week of November ;).@Tonya: well, since Melissa wants Anna Karenina we should go with that one. Or, we could go with both if you think you can do it, I'm sure I can. I have a boring job that requires a lot of sitting around so I read a lot while I'm not doing anything. :) We can start on Wuthering Heights this month and read Anna Karenina the next :) .
I have a couple that I'm finishing up, but if you would like to start Wuthering Heights on Monday that should work out great for me! And yes, definitly Anna Karenina in November, I'm excited for both of them! :)
That sounds great. :)We can start this Monday with Wuthering Heights.
Hello my new book buddy! *kiss*
@Lynn, can you start the topic for this on Monday?
Thanks for having me! Let me know how we go along with this. It's my first buddy read and I'm looking forward to discussing this book with you all
Thank you Lynn :). Please correct the date for the start of this read.@Tonya: can't wait to start this :D.
So confused when I came here, thinking I'm pretty sure you meant 14th October .... then went to the thread and realised my mistake, whoops! :)

I hear it's really great - much smarter than its premise. But I've been given a reading prescription today so wouldn't be able to get to it for a little while.

Ace! Some time in November maybe? I think it's quite a chunky read, so maybe mid November, just to be on the safe side...
My hubby has been bugging me to read WWZ, so I am in for the buddy read as well...could we consider doing it Dec. 1? November is really full for me.
I will gladly join in for reading WWZ, I loved the movie and I'm curious about the book, it's been sitting on my tbr list forever now, and December is great as I only have few books scheduled for this month :)
Lovely, December 1st it is then :) Are we all okay to read it by December 22nd? I know it's not a long time, but I think getting it read by Christmas would be best. Its around 350 pages.I have a copy at home (I'm at work at the moment) so will check how many chapters and base a schedule around a finish date of 22nd if everyone is happy?
I've just managed to find a copy (one of the benefits of working in a Library) and there are 9 chapters. So would three a week be reasonable for everyone?
I totally agree with a three-week spun, I would like to read it a little bit quicker, but it is just me :)
I think that it can be as with Rebecca buddy read, there is a schedule for the whole month and everyone reads in one's own pace, so three weeks seems to be equally ok to manage, especially that later we have Christmas time, and it can be difficult to find some free time to read LOL
That is true, we could do it that way. I personally would prefer to have set points to stop and discuss the book, otherwise I find things tend to get complicated with so many different reading paces. I'm happy to go with the majority though? What would everyone else prefer?
How do you feel about having specific chapters to read each week v everyone reading at their own pace Sarah?I've started a thread for all those interested in reading World War Z. We can continue the discussion on there?
Tessa and I are going to do a buddy read for All The Truth That's In Me does anyone want to join us? We are thinking of a Nov 1st start.
The synopsis sounds really interesting, but I'm not sure I can squeeze this book in November, if I can't, I will join the discussion later :)
Would you be able to squeeze it in earlier Anima? I'm starting my A-Z with this book so wanted to start it before NovemberOtherwise, we could have the buddy read at a later date (maybe dec?) And I will just read the book earlier and join in the discussion?
I don't think I can squeeze it earlier, I have already had 12 books scheduled for October and another 10 on November, but I think I can make in December, one way or another, I will definitely join your discussion, even if I start later :)
