Shredder | 8 comments Can you rank these books in 1-4 order?

I reckon these are all nearly equally ranked in popular review sites.

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) Angie, you should read The Green Mile just because it's a great book!!

message 23: by Kandice (new)

Kandice | 4105 comments Try to get the compiled edition, though. I have the little 6 parters and a bigger all-inclusive. That one is easier to transport!

message 24: by Trudi (last edited Apr 08, 2009 03:54PM) (new)

Trudi (trudistafford) | 150 comments 1. The Green Mile
2. The Talisman (very close 2nd - practically a tie)
3. The Shining
4. Salem's Lot

I really think The Talisman is one of King's most underrated novels; I know it's a collaboration, but there's a lot of King in this story to love. Feels like the Dark Tower, and so grand in scale. The Green Mile was such an addictive read with all those cliffhangers and waiting for the next installment. I cried at the end; truly beautiful story.
