Makes me want to trade in my Nook for a Kindle. I'm already having problems with some books which are only being released on Kindle.

Yeah, hope GR doesn't become too commercial. But I'm glad we will have access to Amazon's database, again. We need book covers on many books we lost when we lost that link.

Linda Boyd (boydlinda95gmailcom) | 598 comments Ladies, what are you thoughts on this?? Good or bad?? Debra I have a Nook as well, as a norm, I am not a Amazon shopper and was not really interested in the Kindle or anything Amazon. I may need to rethink that thought now - but I am keeping my Nook for sure.....

I'm just not sure what the benefits is of Amazon now owning Goodreads - of course I did not read the article - can you tell!! :)

You really have not missed anything from the article! I don't think any real benefits were listed. It was just to reassure us that nothing will change.

I don't think anybody believes that! So knee-jerk reaction is speculation on everything imagined that would be bad.
