is this a fictional account of her life or is it more a reference book?????

From the description, it looks like it is non-fiction/reference. It may go into a fair amount of supposition, but it certainly isn't a historical novel, or anything like that.
Received it from Amazon the other day, haven't read much yet, but it is definitly non-fiction. It is listed as Penguin History / Biography.
It is non-fiction, an account of Hatchepsut's life based on the most current research.
