You know, before I started doing buddy reads, I'd never read more than one book at a time.

Now I've really got a system for keeping the storylines separate.

You get used to it I guess! LOL!

But yea, that's how I suddenly finish 3 or 4 books in one day! because i spent 3 days reading all of them!! LOL!

okay, 2nd chapter done and I've made a decision

I'm going to take off my "parent" hat and try to put on my 16 year old persona. lol

because as a parent I want to freak out that a 16 year old boy is crawling in the window of a 16 year old girl and DROPPING IS PANTS AND SHIRT ON THE FLOOR and sleeping with her all night.

I know they are just sleeping....but OMG!

Just finished chapter 2 and yeah the first chapter was really difficult to get through. And yes it's hard to read as a parent, definitely can't be in that frame of mind with this one! :)

I like it so far I guess, I'll know if I like it more tomorrow and I'm off work all day YAY!!! It's 2:30 am right now so I'm signing off for the night. Good night all! :)

I liked the book.... Except some parts... :p
But while reading I was thinking , how come so many books have the same concept...where boy and girl are friends yet they sleep together...just sleep I mean...
I have read Atleast 5 books with this concept... Now am avoiding this pattern :p

I can't think of any books where the guy and girl just sleep together without doing anything, I think this is the first one for me.

At first I wasn't sure about Liam, (view spoiler)[ like Amber said...as it's from her POV...he had night and day personalities. He confused me quite a bit, but as I'm getting through the chapters I see that Amber misconstrued all of the things he did. When in truth he's a really good guy. My favorite was instead of him eating her cereal every morning he was making her breakfast!! *swoon* (hide spoiler)]

Amber (view spoiler)[ is driving me crazy with of her insecurities, I really hate to say that. I don't mean that I don't like her because I do...she's funny and a nice girl...I just want her to get past all of the "is he going to break my heart" and "is he going to cheat on me" stage. I get why she feels that way, I mean he didn't do a stellar job of giving her a lasting impression. (hide spoiler)]

Really?! Over 200 girls think they will / can be the next girl to "nail" the school player. lol

OK I'm starting to not like this one after the (view spoiler)[ bet and then Amber doesn't want to tell everyone that their together and she's flirting shamelessly with him in front of everyone? I don't think that's typical behavior of a girl that's been violated by her father for years and then can't have anybody touch her even her BFFs. She's not consistent. (hide spoiler)]

That was the worst part of the book for me too.

Yeah, there are a lot of contradictions in this book. Especially considering Amber's character.
I think one shouldn't take this book too seriously and instead just enjoy it :D

I'm with you Trisha, sorry guys I just didn't like it. I thought it was pretty good right up until (view spoiler)[the bet (hide spoiler)] and then it just fell apart for me. I didn't agree with somethings that happened and the direction of the story. I really wanted to like this one. :(
