Should schools require students to wear uniforms or not?

yep! it stops (well limits) bullying. I get picked on enough just for my excessive reading habits. Imagine the problems with clothes! Also it means you don't have to think in the morning!

yes, i am so glad our school has a uniform!!! i never know what to wear on the weekends, it would just slow me down on a school morning. also it helps for not getting lost on a field trip or not getting picked on.

I have mixed feelings:
1. I love fashion so I enjoy the chance to dress down
BUT
2. going to an all-girls school, there's not really any one to impress and it makes getting ready so much easier, and everyone looks the same so like Stephie said it eliminates bullying, and I think it contributes to school unification as well.

you guys are right, but how do you express yourself. (I'm bout 2 sound really smart right now) the 1st amendment has expanded to also mean the ritght to expression. do school uniforms limit our rights?

my school has a Unaform dress code and after a few weeks it's like REALLY anyoing!! so no i dont think they should have them. On some leaves it might take away the right to expression. but on others it doesn't. So if i had to chouse if it did or if it didn't i'd say: yes it does. only because if you have neckless or bracelts with wepeons on them then your not alound to were them and ect.....not that your alound to were shirt averting thouse things to school but; you get my point.

Here are my reasons that schools should have uniforms:
-it reduces bullying because everyone will be wearing the same thing
-people won't have a hard time choosing what to wear on weekdays
-if your school is on a trip somewhere, it is easy to find all the students
-people can't dress inappropriately
Reasons schools shouldn't have uniforms:
-people like to express their style
-People like to express themselves through their clothing
-uniform colours don't suit certain people and they may not like that
-everyone looks the same so if someone was trying to find someone, they'd have a hard time finding them because everyone is wearing the same thing
Personally, I wouldn't like uniforms but those are just my thoughts
