:) I never liked Dylan in the books before. He was just to perfect. And it annoyed the heck outta me when all the adults (except Max's mom) were all like "oh, he's your perfect match. You two are meant to be together".
Scene: Very end, when Max walks up to Fang and tells him he loves her

After Fang kissed Max and Max declared her feelings for him, he felt calm and loved. But he was still suspicious about Dylan, so he looked over Max's shoulder and glared possessively at Dylan.
Dylan caught his eye and nodded his head in understanding. His eyes showed pain, but also reluctant acceptance.
