Rand (iterate) | 99 comments Scottish author of poetry and prose who sometimes writes in Gaelic. Most interesting for his Imaginary Islands which adds on to the British Isles in a riff on Calvino's Imaginary Cities. His other English-language work is the poem Aibisidh ABC.

His non-English works include Tilleadh Dhachaigh, Suas gu Deas, Cairteal Gu Meadhan Latha, & Cairteal Gu Meadhan Latha.

I have not read any of his works but Imaginary Islands looks good. He is featured in the anthology ImagiNation Stories of Scotland's Future but not in that other contemporary Scottish anthology, Acid Plaid.

Peter | 27 comments Not Imaginary Islands, I believe, but Invisible Islands. One to look out for...
