Poppy was hugging her bare shoulders, awaiting in the cold rain. She was cold and angry. Her friends ditched her
Tylaru saw the girl standing all alone in the rain. He smiled darkly. Perfect.
He walked over to the girl, his dark coat seeming to blend in with the night."Hello," he said smoothly.
"Hey" she said through shattering teeth
"I could help you," he said quietly, "Help you escape from the loneliness."
"Huh?'' she looked at him confused "I just need to find a way home"
He smiled, a quick fleeting gesture, and didn't say anything else.
Suddenly he moved forward and pressed a wet handkerchief against her nose, soaked in a knock-out dose of drugs that would leave someone unconscious for hours.
She tried to scream but the drug took over and she fell limp into his arms.
A few minutes later, passerby's would have seen a nondescript man carrying what looked like a fainting girl in his arms, before disappearing down a dark alleyway.
Once in his underground quarters, he put her down on a steel table in the middle of an empty space, and then sat down against the far-off wall and waited for her to wake up.
