Jeni | 33 comments Just a bit of fun.... I'm gonna post an anagram of a fantasy or sci-fi book title and the idea is for the person who solves it to post another anagram for everyone to figure out :)

message 2: by Jeni (new)

Jeni | 33 comments I'll start with

GHOSTLIER FROND

message 3: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Hooper (vickythinks) | 12 comments This is a really fun idea, but I'm having trouble with this one! It might just be a book I don't know maybe. So I'll have a think about some of the words you can get from it and maybe something will jump out at someone else:

Frontier(s)
Front(s)
Friend(s)
Store
Hostel
Hotel(s)
Light(s)
Lighter
Hero

Argh, can't think what it could be! Really good one. :-)

message 4: by Jeni (new)

Jeni | 33 comments This one is fantasy, not sci-fi if that helps :)

message 5: by dbaskls (new)

dbaskls | 7 comments Lord of the Rings?

message 6: by dbaskls (new)

dbaskls | 7 comments Assuming I'm right here's the next one:

MANAGE HERO SOFT

message 7: by Jeni (new)

Jeni | 33 comments Yes! That was the right one :)

message 8: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Hooper (vickythinks) | 12 comments Hahahaha! Oh my gosh. It was such an obvious book I didn't even think of it. *crawls under a rock*

message 9: by Jeni (new)

Jeni | 33 comments I think the next one is just as obvious but I'm not saying what I think it is until you've had a go a guessing it :)

message 10: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Hooper (vickythinks) | 12 comments Age of the Romans!

Wait no, that's not right. A Game of Thrones! :-D

But I do love that you can turn it into Age of the Romans. xD That should be his next series.

message 11: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Hooper (vickythinks) | 12 comments Ok, assuming that's right, here's mine:

I SAW ZERO RAFT AHEAD

message 12: by dbaskls (new)

dbaskls | 7 comments yes I guess that was quite obvious!

message 13: by Jeni (new)

Jeni | 33 comments Good one Victoria, this one took me a while but I think its

A Wizard of Earthsea :D

And my next offering is:

CORPSE FROTH INN

message 14: by dbaskls (new)

dbaskls | 7 comments Doh! I was trying to do this earlier and got as far as wizard!!! Well done Jeni!

message 15: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Hooper (vickythinks) | 12 comments Yes, well done! :-D

message 16: by Jeni (new)

Jeni | 33 comments I read it last year, so once I figured out 'wizard' and 'earth' it didn't take long! :)

Great book. And great clue. I assume that's right so here is my clue:

FOR HOLY HE TWEETED

ps - I think it might be harder to scramble than unscramble :)

message 21: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Hooper (vickythinks) | 12 comments Ooh, just worked this one out.

The Eye of the World!

Hopefully that's right, so here's my next one:

IT SHAFTED BELLE

message 22: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Hooper (vickythinks) | 12 comments And yeah, it can be really hard to scramble them! Hilarious trying to come up with phrases that semi make sense though! :-) Hope that one isn't too rude... :-/

message 28: by Nick (new)

message 29: by Lh (new)

Lh | 5 comments THE LIES OF LOCKE LAMORA?

I sure hope that's right, otherwise this is pretty awkward. :-P
Any way, mine is:

SOW FAKE SHY TING

Yes, I know it makes no sense. Be quiet. xD

message 30: by Nick (new)

Nick Mariner (nmariner) | 8 comments You were right. So I guess this is less awkward at least.

message 31: by Lh (last edited Mar 26, 2013 04:52PM) (new)

Lh | 5 comments That's good! Hopefully my scramble is guessable... and actually works, too.

message 40: by Christian (new)

OK, I've decided to ask. This is one letter off from being able to make Consider Phlebas. But there is a U instead of an A (CONSIDER PHLEBUS?). Any chance that's a mistake? :)I haven't been able to find anything else yet.

I wont make a new one until I know if this guess is correct or not. :)

message 49: by Jeni (new)

Jeni | 33 comments Ooops!!

Yep it was a mistake, sorry!

Damn, I always spell Phlebas/Phlebus wrong, and I've got the book sitting on a shelf behind me too :(

message 50: by Lisa, Khaleesi (new)

Lisa (tenaciousreader) | 23 comments Mod
No problem :) Alright, here's the next one then:
