I really liked this book. I know it was a Stonewall award winner in a past year, but I believe this year it's for Popular Paperbacks? At any rate, I just thought that the story was different, and I liked that it showed a different group of New Yorkers, a different kind of Latino, etc than what is often in books.

I didn't mind this book, but I found the main character to be really obnoxious, and I really wanted him to be less selfish by the end of the book.
