Mel (bullet123) | 16 comments and is a mystery set in the mid 19th century and which will be the first of the Inspector Drewes series.

"It is the autumn of 1868 and Inspector Drewes has spent the day investigating two violent deaths and witnessing an autopsy. Now he is expecting to find solace in alcohol and the company of the police surgeon and his brother. Instead he finds one of them brutally slain. What appears to be a straightforward case grows more complicated as more and more questions arise and the murder becomes inexplicably linked with another killing."

Lee Holz | 384 comments Mel, I liked the book very much. I posted reviews here on GR, but when I went back to amazon to post a review there I couldn't find the book.
