Giggles Jessalina wrote: "But the books where like that. The girls were growing up. They (the books) were pretty far from PG. After all they were meant for teen girls. I liked it because while I was growing up so where the ..."

Elle (2cute4u) | 14 comments i don't know, cause i haven't seen the 2nd movie, but, like Jessalina said, the books and movies are for teens, so the ppl who make the movies aren't going to try to make it appropriate for 9 yr olds. and if you don't like the stuff in the movies, don't watch 'em. i know you probably think we're all ganging up on you, but we're really telling you why they rated it pg13. and, i think you should answer the question courtney asked and you so cleverly avoided. HOW old are you?

message 27: by Emily (new)

Emily They were okay, but I got pissed at the bunch of things they skipped. I mean, they cannot possibly make a movie about THREE books! So annoying. But the acting was great, and they were really entertaining. The Lena/Kostos storyline was destroyed, but apart from that... Okay, I ask for too much. Seen their friendship reflected was kinda enough

message 28: by Emily (new)

Emily Well, maybe, but especially in the first movie I felt like it didn't quite reflect Lena's personality (about been brave and dare to fall in love, and other stuff that made her be my favourite character in the first book). And then in the second movie, well I also got a bit angry at the book (but then re-thought about it and came to the conclusion that it was a way of expressing Lena's pain, as we can see when she cries after), but they made the Kostos thing seem so "light" in the movie, while in the book's totally not so. But anyway, I also enjoyed the movie, as an alternate story for her.
