Rachele Baker (rachelebakerdvm) Has anyone prepared a video book trailer? I need recommendations for best software, best source of no royalty music tracks, best place to post the trailer, etc.?

Frederick Coxen (FLCoxen) | 15 comments I have but I did it through CreateSpace. I worked with their team to develop a trailer that I wanted. They were easy to work with but you have to have a firm idea of how you want the trailer to look or they'll develop it based upon a questionnaire you fill out at the beginning of the process.

I suppose one could do it themselves if given the time and experience.

Here is the link to my U-tube trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPUSuu...

Leila Summers (leilasummers) | 770 comments Hi Rachele,
I have done some book trailers and other videos and can help you if you are interested. A simple book trailer will cost around $120 without voice narration.

If you want to do it yourself, you can use Windows Movie Maker and I'm sure you could find some royalty free music clips online.

I have my book trailer on youtube, Goodreads, and my own website and blog. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeamEI...

I'm not sure how effective they are as a marketing tool, but I like to keep all bases covered.

Rachele Baker (rachelebakerdvm) Thanks Frederick and Leila for your input.

Frederick, how much does it cost to have CreateSpace make a video book trailer?
