SoD seems to dig him. Do any of you read him? What are his best books?

Nope, I read some of those type when I was in the service but I didn't reconize any of his titles.
I have a soft spot for the Dirk Pitt books. It's OK, you can laugh. They're over the top and predictable, but they're fun. I've read 'em all and I still reread them when I need a palate cleansing dose of adventure with no thought required.
