Stephen (father_steve) | 3 comments How does one properly add an author who is not human, e.g. The National Association of Fussbudgets or the Rainier Brewing Company? It seems that if the librarian enters "Rainier Brewing Company," this will alphabetize as if "Company" were the author's last name. How can his be avoided/corrected?

Vicky (librovert) | 2459 comments There is no way to avoid or correct that behavior. The database always assumes the last word (with the exception of things like Jr. or III) is the last name.

The entire back-end database would need to be updated and rebuilt to fix that.

Unfortunately, the database also thinks Jr. and III are last names.

Vicky (librovert) | 2459 comments Huh. How have I never noticed that? I must need to read more books by juniors. :)
