The landmaster (landonzea) | 38 comments If I remember right, that was about the time that I started to read bigger books. Perhaps a bit before...yeah, I'm thinking it was prior to my large book addiction ^-^ Mostly chapter books then. Esp. if they had anything to do with animals or pokemon. Ralph S Mouse, LOTS of Bill Wallace, pokemon chapter books etc.

▒▓ Meghan ▓▒ | 299 comments As I'm only in 7th grade I still cannot remember what I read besides: Goose Bumps, The Stone Child, and Warriors. Not much but I wasn't crazy with reading. Only read if there was a really good book.

message 8: by Andy (new)

Andy Elliott | 3 comments My class read After the First Death which was probably the first book that I had read that didn't have some sort of fantasy or childlike element (my favourite's up til then were The Hobbit and anything by Roald Dahl). It was also very dark, with some very adult scenes which were possibly inappropriate for our age! Shortly after we read The Iron Man which was possibly the first sci-fi esque book I'd read.

message 10: by Sophie (new)

Sophie In fifth grade I had a really (really) amazing teacher. She moved to South Carolina that summer, but she was awesome. Anywhoo, we read a book called Walk Two Moons that I loved. I haven't read it since then, but I remember being fascinated with it. We also read City of Ember (only ok), and I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. So all in all, I read some pretty good books in 5th grade.

Now I am reading partials series and the fifth wave, the fault in our stars, matched, selection. Most people probably read more than just Harry potter each year.

I'm sorry. But you need to be at least 13 to have a Goodreads account.

You didn't copy and paste the whole thing... 😕

Rumell Khan (rkrespectedmember) I think this refers to ages 13-18. I hope a parent is keeping an eye out on you.

What is your business with this anyway? If I choose to use Goodreads, you can't tell me to stop. Cr..."

I am just saying. It is important that if you are 12 years and younger you are supervised while using social networks.

It is important that young people stay safe. The internet is a dangerous place.

I am not saying you should stop using Goodreads. I am saying that you should be supervised while you are using it. Maybe asking a trusted adult before going on Goodreads.
