Audrey Niffenegger - The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger - i've read both these books a number of times and i always find things i didnt finds the first time or the second or the third lol

Joanne Harris - for Chocolat (Chocolat, #1) by Joanne Harris and Five Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harris - both perfect reads for me on a rainy day!

Tracy (tracyface) You're also a member of Our Novel Escape, right Kate? I think we'll be doing a Buddy Read of the Outlander series sometime around May or June if you'd like to join us! :-)

I'll definately join in with that one then - I really like Our Novel Escape - at least one group that doesn't confuse me!

Dean MacAllister (deanmacallister) I pretty much lap up anything by Isaac Asimov, Agatha Christie or Chuck Palahniuk. So yeah...those types of books....hmmm.

Well i know Agatha Christie but other than that in the dark ...l am trying lately to improve on my reading choices and maybe be a little more high brow - or intellectual you might say lol

message 8: by Dean (new)

Dean MacAllister (deanmacallister) Yeah...mine are very eclectic. Long fantasy series, then murder mystery...then Sci-fi...then non-fiction...etc. Like to mix it up. Like when I travel..jungle, desert, then city, diving reefs, then snow...and so on and so on.

Judy (judylou) | 11 comments Whenever I am asked for a list of favourites I can never remember a single name! But I like to read from many genres and will read fantasy, sci fi, general fiction, literature and classics at times. My current book lust is for zombie books (how embarrassing!)

message 10: by Dean (new)

Dean MacAllister (deanmacallister) Zombies are alive and well...well no...I mean...nothing wrong with a love of Zombies. My wife and I are mad zombie fans. Zombieland is one of our favourite movies too.

Kate (kategaff) | 157 comments i love a bit of zombie action!! Walking Dead season 3 has been put on some weird channel over here in England that i don't have so will have to wait for the box set :( I have to admit though that it's not the zombies i love in Walking Dead - it's Rick - the main policeman guy - yum yum lol
I also love Shaun of the Dead :)
My son is into Zom-B (Zom-B, #1) by Darren Shan - he went to a book signing recently and all the staff in the shop were zombied up and playing the part - was great !

Kate (kategaff) | 157 comments Going back to the zombie theme earlier - i wastched 'Warm Bodies' and it was so good - although my teenage son was unconvinced and rolled his eyes at the thought of zombies being cured by love lol
