Tami Sinclair (TamiSinclair) | 1 comments HI all,
Big wave! I live in NM and I'm an author of paranormal and erotic fiction. In my other life I'm a mom of a teenage son who plays ice hockey and am a hospice nurse.
My reading interests vary widely. I love paranormal, urban fantasy, historical western fiction and just about anything that makes me laugh.
Things that are important to me are: honesty, justice and doing the right thing!
If you're looking for a friend, let me know!
I'm also looking for people who would be interested in reading my books for free in exchange for a review on GR and Amazon.
Tami

message 205: by Daisy (new)

Daisy | 1 comments Hi everyone

My name is Rebecca Palese and I write under the pen name of Daisy L Bloom. My current book is called Olive, The Chosen One.
It is a fantasy/romance story and about the Olive Tree Fairies of Salento, Italy. It is my first book. I wrote it to give people the belief that lives struggles and obstacles can be overcome with a little belief and magic. I am struggling for reviews, but know that it is a hard and sometimes brutal industry.

I am being inspired by other authors along the way.

I am currently reading a couple of books at the moment and working on a 2nd called 'Ma, I Love you' which is in a different genre.

If you have time to read my book and rate it, that would be greatly appreciated. It is available on Amazon. My author page URL is amazon.com/author/daisybloom

My love is living in Italy and enjoying life! I am totally tone deaf, but that doesn't stop me trying!

Thank you in advance.

Grace McCabe (grace_mccabe) | 3 comments Hi all - I'm Grace, and I'm 42 and live in Estes Park, Colorado. I'm an avid reader (and writer) of mostly romance and paranormal romance fiction. But I also like fantasy, thrillers, and a good mystery once and a while. I've had some short stories published in traditional print magazines, but I'm trying the self-publishing route as an author to hopefully reach a wider audience.

I use a Kindle paperwhite reader (kinda old, but still works fine). As for hobbies, I'm into outdoor recreation, photography, and watching my hubby race motocross in the summer.

Anyway, I look forward to being a part of the group, and finding out what great new books people are reading.

Janelle Jalbert (Janelle_Jalbert) | 2 comments Hi Everyone,

I'm glad to be among fellow readers and writers. I'm currently in sunny Southern California (though it's raining at the moment). I'm an avid reader as well as a writer. I've been blessed to be able to write all types of pieces as a copywriter, ghostwriter, reporter, and author in my own right. Even the writing that I do under my own name varies across the board though I tend to focus on pieces that "celebrate the magic of everyday life". That goes for both fiction and non-fiction (even my latest release shows that one in the fact that the subtitle to WINGDOG: Soul Pup is 'A Magical Mutt Memoir' =) I'm looking forward to finding some wonderful discoveries while I'm here!

LeeAnn Whitaker | 1 comments Hello fellow readers, writers, and reviewers

I'm LeeAnn, based in the not so sunny UK. You'll generally find me sat at my kitchen table with my face stuck to my laptop (that's when I'm not running around after my kids) I love exciting complicated romance: suspense, contemporary, historic, paranormal. Currently, I'm working on a follow up to a romantic thriller I published in February, and also promoting a contemporary romance that's being released on the 29th April.

That's me in a nutshell :D

Madeline Dyer (madelinedyer) | 2 comments Hi!

Great to find this group!

My name's Madeline Dyer and I'm the author of UNTAMED and FRAGMENTED, two dystopian novels published by Prizm Books. Well, FRAGMENTED hasn't actually released yet--it's scheduled for a September 7, 2016 release!

So, yes, I'm a full-time writer. I love animals. And I have a massive phobia of skeletons--which was made worse recently when I had to sit next to one at a hospital and its jaw and arm fell on me!

message 224: by Vanessa (new)

Vanessa (izbeenz) | 2 comments Hi, I'm Vanessa - part-time writer, full-time epidemiologist, and life-long animal lover. I recently published my debut dark fantasy novel, FOUR O'CLOCK ALICE, to Amazon Kindle. It was actually pretty anti-climactic: the whole thing took me 3.5 years to write and about 5 minutes to publish...

I'm happy to have found this group, everyone seems cool here :) Hope to find some people interested in reviewing my book!

Luca Ferrarini (luca_ferrarini) Hi, I am Luca and it is my pleasure to meet you all.
Who I am, shortly: background in computer engineering, now working as project manager in IT. Husband, father of a truly lovely daughter and another one (who will surely be as lovely as the first) on her way :-)

Last year I wrote my first novel, Sofia's Sycamore. Why? Because there were things I had wanted to share for years, and I felt a novel would be the perfect way to do it.

I hope I'll find some reviewers in this goup.

For now, a big HI to all of you!

Gwen Piercy (gwenpiercy) | 9 comments Hey everyone.

I am a hopeful future author and a recent Goodreads member (I can't believe I didn't join this earlier). I am getting ready to launch a new novel, actually my first and I am simply terrified at the idea. Maybe coz I am so desperate fore people to like it (and I don't mean you mom). Recently learned about ARCs so I am hoping that I should be able to find willing souls who can help me with that :)

message 228: by Tricia (new)

Tricia | 3 comments Hi all I'm Tricia and an avid reader - I've been a member of good reads for a few years now but didn't actually realise it was a whole community of like minded people !!! So this is all a bit new to me .....

My fav genre is crime and drama I've been using kindle unlimited this last year and it really has introduced me to a lot of wonderful new authors . I have to say I was a bit of a stick in the mud and stuck on a few authors and book covers would very much influence what I would pick up to read . Now I feel like I've missed out on so much .....

I'm trying to get into reviewing as even though I use reviews to see how others like a book I've never really done that myself, so please forgive me if my reviews are a bit bland to start I'm sure that they will improve as my confidence in writing improves ...

I'm looking forward to finding even more wonderful reads ....

Thanks for reading my wee intro :-)

message 229: by Tom (new)

Tom Julian | 9 comments Well it looks like my publisher has gone belly up and will no longer be able to publish my titles any longer. You won’t be able to buy Timberwolf or Breacher on Amazon or any of the other sites on which they are sold. Especially bummed as I am halfway through a really special novella called MACHINE THERAPY. If you’ve read the books, you probably have a really good idea of what that’s about just by the title. It was coming out awesome and I hope to finish it soon for my own satisfaction. BUT NEVER FEAR!!!! I will be getting the rights back to all my work and will have complete control over what I do with my books in the future. I am currently looking to find Twolf, General Gray, Dr. Tier, Salla Birdwing and all your favorite alien hunting zealots a new home. There’s been a few bites already, so hopefully we’ll rig up and break atmo again soon. Best - Tom

Eleanor Elliott | 2 comments Hi all!

I'm a working mum of two who has just self published my first book, eeek! It's been an adventure, full of excitement, self doubt, procrastination, high energy and imagination overload! My first book is the first part of a trilogy, and I'm hoping to release book 2 in the next few months. My genre is romance, with a fantasy/suspense feel - if you enjoyed Willow or the Princess Bride, I reckon you'll love my stories!

I read anything, and I like to have a few books on the go, from sci-fi to thriller to crime to comedy...my favourite book is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier :)

I look forward to contributing and also reviewing where I can :)

Thanks

Margaretha Montagu (margarethamontagu) | 1 comments Bonjour everyone! I am an author and mindfulness meditation workshop host here in the south of France. In a past life, I was a medical doctor. These days my assistants are six supersmart horses - our workshops are based on equine-assisted experiential learning. As you can imagine, I devour any book to do with horses and I am also rather keen on historical crime fiction and mysteries.

Anyway, my second book has just been published. It is called French Women's Confidence Secrets. It is a confidence-boosting book for women, based on the information about the confidence-building techniques shared with me by several of my best French friends. If anyone is interested in reading my book, in exchange for an honest review, please let me know!

Susan Clayton-Goldner (susanclayton-goldner) | 11 comments Hi Vanessa,
My novel, A Bend In The Willow, is scheduled to release on January 18, 2017. I'm looking for reviewers and wondered if you'd consider it. I won't have the ARC's for a few weeks, but am trying to line up reviews now. The novel won the National Writers' Association Novel Contest. Here is a short synopsis: Catherine Henry tells her husband many stories about her past. Not one of them is true. Her tapestry of lies begins to unravel when their five-year-old son is diagnosed with a chemotherapy-resistant leukemia. Michael will die without a bone marrow transplant. Neither she nor her husband is a match. Because relatives make the best donors, Catherine returns to rural Kentucky to face murder charges and a past filled with heartbreak. There she searches for the brother she abandoned and the baby she gave up for adoption nearly two decades before. Will she find them and will they give her a second chance? A Bend In The Willow explores the risks a mother will take to try to save her dying child. Please contact me at: susancgold@aol.com if you are interested. Thanks so much.
