Belle stood up as she heard Jake voice, she picked up her puppy and watched in confusion as he was... chased? by some girl she didn't know.

"Leave me alone!!!! Just go away Annabeth!" He screamed "you-" he saw Belle looking at him.
Belle heard him say Annabeth and suddenly understood, she mouthed 'sorry' to him as the dog barked excitedly, Belle just wanted to sleep.
She sat back down on the fence, kind of glad Annabeth didn't know her as she watched them through the corner of his eye.
Jake groaned"just go Annabeth" he said
Belle bit her lip, not sure how to react and kind of glad she didn't have to, her eyes were trained on the tiring puppy but her ears were on Jake and Annabeth. She didn't want to eavesdrop but curiousity was getting the better of her.
"Jake!" Annabeth cried "I want you back! I overacted today! Please?!" she said "No" he said "you made it pretty clear you don't want to be with me!" he yelled "what more do you want from me!?" he shouted "I want you back!" she screamed "NO that's something I can't do!" he yelled walking away.
Belle sighed, a small part of her wondered why he didn't go back to her but she quickly left the thought behind. She turned her head as he yelled 'no' more because of the surprise of the loudness.
Jake was starting to wonder if he had feelings for belle he quickly pushed the thought away hearing Annabeth running after him.
Belle bit her lip and went around the back, her puppy following closely. She met Jake on the corner, "Need a hideout?" she asked him with a smile.
"Your a life saver" he said with relieved "does that answer your question?" He grinned.
She laughed, "Come on then" she said opening the side gate.
"Thanks" he smiled for the first time since he'd seen Annabeth in his room
She closed the gate behind him, making sure Annabeth didn't see them, "No problemo" she said with shrug.
Belle watched her curious puppy run up to Jake, "Jess be nice" she told the dog, leading Jake over to the tree house.(
That's what she looks like))
"cool always wanted to go in a tree house" he smiled

She laughed, "I built it with my mum when I was eight or so" she said shrugging, "it's more of an escape route now" she said pointing to the branch that was near her window.((I know! I want a husky :( ))
"it's a good place to escape to" he smiled

"Yup" she agreed, "Plus no one comes up because it reminds my father of my mother and my step-mother won't climb the ladder" she said with a laugh.
She grabbed the dog and climbed the tree house ladder, with her free hand.
Belle sat on the floor and looked at Jake, "So do you want to tell me what's up?" she asked casually.
"She was in my room when I got there and said that I was with you and got pissed off" he said.
"Oh" She said understanding now, "but why didn't you want to get back with her, didn't you say you love her?" she asked him.
"I did untill I realised how bad we were together" he said.
"Yeah I get what you mean" She said nodding, thinking of her and Dylan.
"what about you and yout boyfriend?" he asked.
"He wants to talk, I'm ignoring him for the same reason" She said shrugging, "I guess I wanted everything to be perfect so much that I tricked myself into believing it was, I'm kinda sick of pretending like all the things he does are ok" she added as an after thought.
She rested her head on the wooden wall behind her, "I swear, if I make it through class tomorrow then I'm going to be very suprised" she said sighing.
Belle felt her eyes close slightly as she fought to stay awake, she watched her puppy run over to Jake energetically.
He smiled and Pet her puppy.
The dog went over and fell asleep in the corner, as if suddenly worn out. "Do you think Annabeth is still looking for you?" she asked, more out of curiosity.
"She doesn't give in easy so that's a yes" he said.
"So that means you're gonna be stuck here awhile?" she asked with a tired smile.
"Well in that case we may as well do something to pass the time" She said shrugging, "Any ideas?"
"Well you're not very helpful are you?" she said poking her tongue out at him.
He poked it back "I know I'm not" he grinned.
"Ummm..." she said as she thought, "I don't know, I'm to tired to think" she pouted immaturely.
"Why are you smirking like that?" she she asked him raising an eyebrow.
