He nodded "At first we both hated the idea, it was like our parents couldn't deal with either of us so they just got rid of us" Kevin said, smirking slightly."Hello" Belle answered, "Do you need a hand?" she offered.
"Why thank you" Maria said "you can carry these?" She asked

Belle smiled and nodded, "Sure thing" she said.Kevin chuckled and nodded, "It wasn't like I hated her but I couldn't believe my parents would do that" he told Jake.

Belle just smiled and picked up everything she was told to."It wasn't until after that, when we were forced to move in together things got worse because neither of us wanted to be there" Kevin explained, "It wasn't until after our divorce that I realised I actually loved her, I was so caught up in wanting to be my own person an prove my parents wrong I pushed all my feelings for her away without even realising it" he added with a sigh.

Belle smiled at Jake, "What did I miss?" she asked curiously."I was just telling Jake a bit about our arranged marriage" Kevin said to the girls.
"Oh really" Maria said sitting next to her husband

Kevin took her hand as she sat next to him, "Yes really" he said with a smile.Belle placed the cups in front of everyone and sat back down, "I think I'd make a fantastic waitress, If I do say so myself" she said smiling.
"That was long ago" she sighed

"Yep and if you ever come into my resturaunt I won't give you any food because you called me immature" she said in a fake pouting voice.Kevin looked at Belle with a raised eyebrow and then looked at Jake "If she is anything like Maria they don't get much more mature with age" he joked and looked at his wife with a smile.

"And you still aren't getting any food from my restaurant" she said crossing her arms with a smile.Kevin kissed Maria's forehead, "See?" he said to Jake with a laugh.

Kevin kissed her hand softly and looked back at Jake and Belle.Belle couldn't help but smile, she thought it was cute how you could see the love between them even if you barely knew them.

Kevin smiled gently, "So tell me about yourselves?" he said to them.Belle bit her lip and looked at Jake.

Belle poked her tongue out at him and then turned back to Kevin and Maria "um I don't really know what to say, uh, I'm studying to become a vet at the moment, I love horse-riding, sports and being outside" she summarised quickly then looked at Jake "Your turn" she told him with a grin.Kevin chuckled and nodded.
He grinned back "I love sport an your what you could call average everyday charming guy" he smirked and chuckled "I'm also studying to be an artist if that doesn't work I'm going for cook" he said
Belle giggled and shook her head as he talked about being your 'Average everyday charming guy.' She had to admit she was surprised when he said he wanted to be an artist or cook.
"What are you laughing about?" He grinned.
She smirked "Oh nothing much 'Average everyday charming guy'" she said looking at him with an amused gleam in her eyes. Many people found it hard to believe Belle got the grades required to become a vet, truth was, she was actually very smart and just didn't feel the need to act like an overly intelligent person.
"Yep it's very true" he grinned.
She laughed and looked at Kevin and Maria.Kevin chuckled at the pair.

Belle raised an eyebrow, unsure of what Maria meant she looked at Jake for help, maybe his and Kevins' conversation while she was in the helped him understand.Kevin looked at them, "You two feel free to come and go here as you please, just give us some warning next time" he said smirking.
"Really? Thankyou" Belle said greatfully, she glanced at the clock "I'm really sorry but I need to go, I have uni tomorrow" she said gravely, she didn't want to face her step-mother yet but she had to.Kevin noticed her reluctance and felt sorry for both Belle and Jake, he knew what it was like to be in their shoes.
Jake's eyes widened "oh my gosh what time is it?!" jake said.
Belle bit her lip, "Eleven" she told him still biting her lip.
"oh I have to go!" he said stumbling for the door he stopped half way "oh where are my manners" he mumbled "excuse me this was lovely but now I have to go" he ran out the door.
Belle looked at him confused as he ran out, she understood him being in a hurry but... She turned to the couple, "Bye, hopefully I don't fall asleep at uni tomorrow" she said with a polite smile and a wave.Kevin waved as she walked out the door.
Jake rushed home and came through his window.
Belle went home, unable to shake her thoughts of Jake and things the old couple had incinuated.
the light switch flickered on Jake saw Annabeth "you were with her weren't you" she said "do you ever ask to come in here?" he asked.
Belle crawled into bed and heard her phone ring she looked at the screen and saw Dylans' name. She sighed and silenced her phone, getting into pajamas and laying in bed.
Annabeth hugged him "I want you back" she said "well you made it pretty clear you hate me" he pulled away from her hug.
She felt her phone vibrate, she looked at the message to see it was from Dylan. It said 'Can we talk babe?' Belle sighed, he always did this, she texted back 'No.' and threw her phone away.
"Annabeth leave" Jake said "but baby I want you back" she said seductively "to late" he said "if you won't leave I will" he said jumping out the window.
Belle scribbled a few notes down on a peice of paper, chewing her pencil thoughtfully as she finished her homework. She pat her puppy with a sigh, she couldn't concentrate at the moment for some reason.
Jake heard annabeth running after him "leave me alone" he said "but I want you back!" She said "to late" he said.
Belle sighed, hearing her phone buzz a few times, she packed her things away and pulled out a book still unable to focus as she glanced around her bigger then nessecary room.
"Jake jake! JAKE!" She cried for him "no" he said "come back baby" she shouted and fell on the side walk crying "that doesn't work on me anymore annabeth" he said "jake aren't you going to help me? There could be rapist and peterfiles or Perv's" said tears swelling up in her eyes.
Belle looked at her puppy who was growling at it's shadow, she faintly heard someone yelling and figured it was a few blocks away, she wondered what was happening and glanced at her window biting her lip.
"Jake!" Annabeth screamed on the ground now she grabbed his leg like a child would their mother. He shook her off "leave me alone Annabeth, you made it pretty clear you hate me and now you want me back?! What more do you want from me! This time I'm saying it's over for good!" he yelled "Jake don't say that please Jake?" she made a sad face "too late" he said stomping away.
Belle sighed and put a black hoody on over her pajamas, she grabbed her dog and crawled out onto the branch that lead to her old tree house. She scrambled downed the ladder, still clutching the puppy, and went into her front yard where she let the dog run around as she scanned the streets for anyone before sitting on the ground.
As jake walked away angrily he saw belle which surprised him he looked behind him and saw Annabeth running towards him "stop stalking me!" He yelled and started running "Jake!" She screamed "NO!" He said.
"Really?" Jake asked
