"yes it does and sorry" he said "why?" he asked and looked down at what his mother ordered it was pork ribs he scowled "me neither" he said sighing "you vego?" he asked eating a slice of bread his mother gave him a glare "what are you doing we eat at the same time" she growled at him he ignored her and got out his phone admiring the picture of annabeth he sighed wanting so much to be with her more than ever he was wondering if belle felt the same about her someone like jake did about belle he thought

Belle shook her head, "No but I'm alergic to salmon" she said, still thanking the waiter because her step-mother obviously wouldn't. She pushed the plate away ignoring Silvia's disaproving look, "Belle, eat!" she said sternly but Belle just shook her head and said "Oh mother dearest it seems you have forgotten my alergy to fish" she said in a sickly sweet voice. Silvia knew Belle would make a scene just to humiliate her so she just turned back to Jakes Mum and started talking about her 'attitude.'
"great my mum's going to love the kid gossip session she definitely won't call off the wedding" he said bitterness in his voice "why would she do that to you?" Jake asked looking at the fish he pushed his meal away "mum I'm vegetarian" he said "but son you need some meat on you and muscle" she said he saw the sour looks on his step father and belle's step mothers faces he sent a sour look at his step father and ate a slice of bread
Belle had an idea, "We could always make a run for it, I'm sure they wouldn't care too much if they think we are somewhere together" she said quietly, "And I actually am hungry so..." Belle added, trailing off at the end. In total honesty she thought it was completely ridiculous that their parents wouldn't even trust them to make their own choices on what they wanted to eat. She knew Silvia ordered so that Belle didn't have a chance to order something tht wasn't posh and 'respectable.'
"That sounds great but how are we going to do it?" He asked "and if they do think we're together the they won't care but I don't know if my step dad would believe me" he sighed and took a sip from his water and leaned back in his chair until his step father gave him a dirty look and his mother sighed "so belle do you want to go freshin up in the ladies room why I'm in the men's?" He said and winked at her so only she could see and sat up straight
"Oh, yes but..." Belle drifted off, "I am starting to feel strange" she rubbed her temple as if relieving a headache. "I'm sorry but I need to step out for a moment," she said and then adding quietly to Jake "Act concerned" as she stood up and stumbled a little. Belle was mentally laughing... and her father didn't think all those acting classes she took would help her with anything.
Jake acted at looking concerned "I'll go with her" he said making worry come to his eyes and walked away with belle seeing his mother smile madly big he felt himself laughing inside they actually bought it! He thought and kept walking "ladies room?" He said his smile going a bit weird what If a girl was getting changed? He thought he knew annabeth wouldn't like the sight if that he sighed and shrugged he just wouldn't tell her maybe
"No I need fresh air" Belle said, still aware of her step-mothers cautious gaze. Silvia didn't care about Belle but she did know how cunning Belle could be and she was desperate for this marriage to go ahead for some reason. Yeah, good luck with that Silvia, Belle thought snidely to herself. A large part of her was glad that Jake had someone else as well but a very small part of her wasn't sure, she refused to label it jeaousy and instead went with 'concerned about the drama this may cause.' She really had no right to either emotion because she barely knew him but whatever it was, was still there.
"Ok" jake said walking to the entrance with her he saw the look on her face as she thought and chuckled he wasn't sure if he liked her or not but he felt sorry for her that this was happening he was glad she had someone and he knew she probably felt the same he sighed and kept walking its a shame that we have to marry he thought we might have become friends if this didn't happen he thought as he walked out the door and held it open for her
Belle smiled, "Thanks" she said walking out "Why are you laughing?" she asked him curiously, now back to her normal self. She was so relieved to be away from Silvia, she wished that this wasn't happening because Jake actually seemed like a nice guy and then there was the fact that he already had a girlfriend that he seemed to love and she just had to come along and complicate that for him thanks to her idiotic step-mother.
"The look on your face before" he grinned "so we go our separate ways now belle" he smiled he liked belle he just wished he didn't have to meet her this way and could tell that that he had complicated things for annabeth and him and belle and her someone no he thought it wasn't me it was my step father and my mother he thought with a dirty look on his face
Belle sighed and nodded, "It appears that way" she said with a smile, "I don't know about you but I'm going to find some decent food... Although that may be hard because we are in the posh side of town... and I'm rambling so I'm going to shut up now" she added shaking her head with a grin. Even though her family was very well off, Belle had never been interested in gormet foods but preffered simple places that didn't have fancy french names.
"yes it does" he smiled back "agreed" he said his stomach growling he laughed "ok so I guess I need some food" he said with a chuckle he grinned "well I'm off for some decent food" he said and walked down the side walk he looked back at belle for a minute then kept walking down the lonely side walk he needed to find annabeth and tell her everything
Belle watched Jake walk away, she pulled ot her phone and texted Dylan to meet her at the park... and to bring her some food because she was hungry. She made her way to the park and sat on the swing, waiting for him. She had to tell him everything, everything!
Jake texted annabeth to meet him at the pizza shop and said that he had to tell her a lot he sighed and kept walking to the pizza shop to meet annabeth he needed to tell her so so much about everything about belle about the marriage about how they were going to stop it how he was going to stop it how was he going to do it he though he shrugged ill figure that out later when i get home If I don't stay with annabeth he thought
Belle waited for Dylan to show up, she was a little nervous to be honest. Dylan was a great guy but he had anger issues and she wasn't sure how he'd react when she told him that she was supposed to get married to a guy she only met an hour ago. She smiled as two familar arms wrapped around her waste, "Hey I'm looking for my girlfriend, she's a hot brunette with an attutude, seen her?" Dylan's voice whispered with a laugh on the end.
Jake saw annabeth his eyes widened and he ran to her and gathered her into a hug and swung her around "I missed hyou so much I need to tell you so much oh where do I start-" he was cut off "your rambling again" annabeth laughed "oh I am sorry" he said and kissed her "so mad'am 1 table for 2?" he joked "of course sir" Annabeth joked with him
Belle smiled and spun around with a smile, "If you can't find that girl of yours I'm always here" she said kissing him, "You're not bad looking yourself" she said cheekily. Dylan grinned and pulled her up to kiss her, "I brought food" he whispered into her ear flirtatiously which made Belle laugh into his shoulder, "so irresistable" she said sarcastically. Dylan smiled and wrapped his arm around her shoulder, "So what did my amazing, fantastically gorgeous girlfriend want to tell me?" he said in weird voice. Belle looking him in the eye and said "Well..."
"So Jakey what was it you wanted to tell me?" Annabeth asked "well I'll get to that long story" he said "not too long?" She asked he shrugged and pulled her seat out for her "what are you going to order?" He asked with a smile
"You seem gloomy" Annabeth said he sighed "that's a long story too" he chuckled

"It just is ok babe" Jake said sighing again and put his hand down on the table

Dylan laughed, "What?" he said curiously impatient. Belle frowned "My parents are making me marry a guy that I only just met tonight, I wanted to tell you sooner but I didn't know how" she said carefully watching his reaction. That was the quickest way to explain it all and she didn't think every tiny detail mattered to him. Dylans' face was unreadable as he processed what she had just told him, "How long have you known?" he asked in an emotionless voice which worried Belle "They mentioned it a while ago... I didn't realise that they were serious until about a week ago" she explained softly.
"Jake tell me" she said serious "ok ok" he said "well my parents kinda............kinda.........well...." he said "spit it out!" she yelled "I'm getting married-" he was cut off "what!??!!?" she said almost crying "who is the b*tch" she said angrily "wow wow wow" he said "she is actually nice" he said "so you like her" Annabeth stormed off "it's not like that!" he yelled "then what is it like" she said arrogantly "it was arranged" he said hurt in his eyes
Belle bit her lip, "I can't believe you waited a whole week to say this" Dylan said coldly. "I was waiting till the right time" She said annoyed that she just said that, it was what everyone said. "So where does that leave us?" he said in an aggitated voice, Belle sighed and said "I don't know yet." Dylan stood up, "I need to sort my thoughts out, I'll see you later I guess" he said walkeding off and leving Belle alone.
Jake ran after annabeth "wait!" He screamed "no" she said angrily she started to run "just leave me alone jake go get married its probably what you want" she said "why would you say that?" He said sadness in his voice "because its probably true" she said arrogantly "Anna, annabeth I would never do that to you I love you" he said hurt on his voice "of course you do" annabeth sarcastically and kept running "Anna" he called after her "annabeth!"
Belle sighed and sat on the swing with a frown, she had expected him to have some reaction but he acted like she didn't even exist to him anymore and that hurt more then him getting angry would have.
Jake went and sat down on a park seat and frowned his head down looking at the grass he sighed was annabeth going to forgive him?or worse ever come back to him? he sighed again what was he going to do? He felt a single tear fall down his face he watched it fall in the grass and thought of annabeth did she not believe him about the marriage? He had so many questions about everything is this a dream? Or Is it real? Is this a big joke? Or not? He wondered
Belle was looking up at the sky glumly, she didn't even notice it was Jake on the park bench nearby. Instead she was thinking about Dylan, this whole thing messed up her entire relationship. There was no way things would be the same between them again and all she hoped for was that he would try to get through it all. But Belle knew even that was a long shot now, she wished that she could just pinch herself and wake up in a world where her mum didn't die, that would have changed everything.
Jake wished none of this ever happened then him and annabeth would be happy and lying on the grass talking about when they wanted to et married one day but that wasn't going to happen because his step dad and his mum he sighed grumpily and looked around the park hoping he would see annabeth he knew she wouldn't be there but he felt shock and disappointment as he saw she wasn't near at all she was probably back home by now he thought he felt a tear go down his face he wiped it away
Belle glanced around the park, finally noticing Jake... she didn't recognise him at first "Jake?" she asked trying to hide her sad voice and pass it off as curiousity. I looked like him but she had only met him once so she wasn't completely sure of herself.((Sorry its short ))

"Long story short, he isn't happy with me at the moment" she answered in the exasperation that was hiding the way she actually felt, "how about you? I figured you went to find you girlfriend" she asked curiously. She hoped things had gone better for him with his girlfriend but it didn't look like it had.
"Well lets just say it doesn't look like she's going to visit me anytime soon" he smirked "well she wouldn't believe me and she thought that I was falling in love with you because she over reacts like that and stormed off before I could say anything" he said and looked around "doesn't look like she's coming back" he said "she wouldn't listen to me after I said marriage" he smirked again "did yours go better?" He asked thinking of annabeth
"Not exactly" she said biting her lip "I pretty much got the 'don't call me I'll call you' card in the end" Belle said shrugging. "He pretty much left as soon as I told him, something about needing to sort his head head out" she added. Belle looked at him "So, it seems that so far we have both had pretty sucky nights so far" she said with a small laugh, despite everything.

"Wow" Belle said suprised, "I not really the jealous type... I think I'm too forgiving sometimes though" she told him as she remembered that time her boyf... ex-boyfriend, cheated on her and lied about it and she just forgave him without another thought. A part of her had always regretted that she forgave him so easily.
"Annabeth well let's just say she doesn't really forgive easy at all" he sighed an chuckled "well me I guess I'm neither" he said and looked down at the swaying grass and smiled remembered him and Annabeth lying in the grass he smiled again and looked up at belle "I don't know what to do" he said

Belle sighed, "We try to move on and get over it, I guess" she said biting her lip softly. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise? It didn't feel that way but who knows, Belle wondered if her and Dylan would ever even speak again. They used to be friends, best friends, but she didn't think they could even go back to that anymore. He held grudges, that was one of his worst traits but she had always managed to ignore that part of him and focus on his good traits.
"Yeah" he said he knew annabeth would avoid him if he ever saw her again he bit his lip of course she would never talk to him that's what she did to her old boyfriend anyway he thought

"Well, there's no point moping around here about everything" Belle said standing up. She hadn't said it in a happy or sad way, it was more like a 'I'm not about to waste my time on a guy that isn't coming back' of way. Belle didn't hold grudges, I mean sure she was upset but she usually looked to the bright side of things.
"True true" he said "but there's no way I'm going back to the step monster" he chuckled at the word step monster and looked around just in case but he knew no matter how he wished annabeth wasn't coming back he sighed "what else is there to do?" He asked
Belle giggled at his step-monster joke and then thought about his question. "Have you every been to the vinyards at night?" she asked him, the vinyards were about ten minutes away and would definately be closed now. She usually snuck in at night by herself and then just ate grapes and sat up on the huge hill, the vinyards were huge and privately owned so there was no lights that had to be put in. The owners lit lanterns instead to keep power usage down so the stars were amazing there, it was so easy to forget about her problems there.
"Nope but I'd like to" he smiled watching of how it looked that she admired that vineyards "sounds like fun" he rubbed his hands together trying to look evil
She raised an eybrow at his 'evil' face, "Nice facial" she teased with a smirk "Come on then, let's go" she said with a small laugh, waving her hand in a gesture to follow her.
He laughed "thanks" he said and started walking he walked a little faster "I don't want the step monster to find me" he said with a funny face and followed her
Belle giggled and shook her head at him, "You're a wierdo" she told him in a matter-of-fact tone. She walked a little faster to keep up with him when his pace increased.
"I know I am but what are you?" he laughed and walked a little faster he grinned and realised he was still wearing his tux
She grinned and poked his arm "Real mature" she said poking her tongue out at him. She realised she was still in her dress and raised an eyebrow, "I hate dresses" she thought aloud.
"yep it is" he poked his tongue back and grinned "I don't" he grinned slyly "that probably makes me sound like a perv" he laughed "I hate tux's" he grinned
She rolled her eyes, "Just a little" she joked holding her finger up in a pinched motion with a grin, "Or, you know, a drag queen... they probably like dresses too" she said deviously.
