Vonnegut's Obit

I know Kurt Vonnegut passed on last summer, but I'd never seen FOX news's obit until now. Has anyone ever seen it? It all but trashes the man- and this, a DAY after his death. What the hell were they thinking? Does anyone know who runs FOX news? Even if they just had a bone to pick with Vonnegut, this is completely appalling and distasteful.

that would be Rupert Murdoch who owns and runs it. Murdoch and Fox News are notoriously conservative while Vonnegut is 'notoriously' liberal. They're like polar opposites. He stands for everything FOX News wants to suppress. I haven't seen their version of the truth on this particular subject, but it doesn't surprise me to hear that it was defamatory.

You asked what was Fox thinking? That's the thing...Fox DOESN'T think. :-) Remember, this is the station that Dick Cheney requests that any hotel he stays in already has the television turned on to so he can walk in and "be informed". That should tell you just about everything you need to know about Fox.
