Giovanna Marini (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giovann...), one of the greatest voices of Italian folk music, is 85 years old today.

It's about an episode of October 1972, when workers went from all parts of Italy to demonstrate solidarity with the workers of the southern region of Calabria, and the neofascists planted 8 bombs to stop their trains. Luckily there were no deaths, and 40 to 50 000 workers managed to reach the Reggio Calabria. On the stage came also Giovanna Marini, who later wrote this song about that day.
