C.W. Schutter (aspencarole) | 1 comments For anyone who likes historical romance fiction, read "September Dawn," and see the DVD which is on the best selling rental list. I am the author and am disappointed that some people totally missed the point of the movie and the book because of religious bias. Thousands of emails were sent bashing the movie and it was even removed from sites like YouTube for being "pornographic" which is sad because it is the furthest thing from that. You can check out the trailer and read about my book on and decide for yourself. I don't mean to "cry" about it because it is now doing well on the secondary (DVD) market and will be released worldwide soon. I just think this kind of insidious "censorship" isn't right. In any case, my message was forgiveness and secondarily not to follow any leader, religious or secular, blindly. We must develop and listen to our conscience which serves as a moral compass. Other than that, it is a great love story set in what I hoped to be a morality play about terrorism. Carole Whang Schutter

Shelly (mercy20) Woah. I remember seeing the trailer for that on the apple website a while back and thinking... I need to see that it looks really good. I never did get to see it in theaters, but it is on my 'to watch' list for DVD release. Sorry to hear that it got bashed terribly :(

Bree Fun historical romance fiction is The Pink Carnation series...think spies like the Scarlet Pimpernel except women and then the story is interwoven with the romance or lack there of (depending :D ) of the women discovering these stories.
