Natasha Holme (natashaholme) | 114 comments Ah, the first one's for me: search for relevant Facebook groups to join. I didn't think of that. Thanks, Randy.

Darlene Deluca (darlenedeluca) | 105 comments Hi everyone,
OK, this may be a really dumb question, but I can't figure out how to "like" someone else's page from my Facebook author page. I'd prefer to keep my author page separate from my personal page. Can anyone help? Also, would love to swap "likes!"

E.M. Abel Go to the top right corner ( settings) and there should be an option to "Use Facebook as..." and you can choose which account you would like to use before hitting like. :)

Nicolas Wilson | 51 comments Darlene: Just to warn you, only so much separation is possible. You can't interact publicly with some pages without a personal account(IE messaging them, friending them, writing stuff on their wall) I just had a feature with a page like that, and had to interact with them using my personal page to thank them for interviewing me and whatnot.

EM, would I find that on my personal page or my author page? so far, I'm not finding it under settings. I've got account settings and privacy settings. erg!

E.M. Abel Hmmm not sure. My personal and author page are connected so when I log in my settings always give me the option to use FB as my Author status... did you click the small icon in the top right corner of your home page?

Willa Jemhart | 6 comments I had this same problem. Took a long time to figure it out. Try going to 'edit page' on your author page. Then to 'admin roles.' Make sure that your personal profile name is set up as a 'manager' of your author page. After that you should be able to choose 'use facebook as' option that's been mentioned. Hope this helps!

All the comments below are helpful but if you don't want to think about this, you can try having two browsers on your computer and using one for one profile and one for the other. It's a pain but it works!

My Facebook page is at http://www.facebook.com/StormChaseRom...

Would love to swap links!

Hi Darlene:
You can't like another page from your author page. You have to log into your profile (personal page) to Like another page. Also, you cannot post to groups unless you do so from your profile page.
