The Lightning Thief is the first book! In the Percy Jackson and Olympians Series, there are five books, and in the following series (Heroes of Olympus) there are also five books, but two haven't been released yet. They're amazing!!!

The first does have Percy mentioned and Annabeth is a side character. The second book is all about Percy... The third book has both Percy and Annabeth as main characters again, but they are joined by a few new MC's from the books.
