He nodded in agreement. "So, Victoria, what do you do?"

"What do you mean?" She asked him.
"What do you do in your free time? What do you enjoy?"
She actually had to think for a minute about the last time she had free time. "Well....before the End I guess I was like everyone, just liked to hang out with my friends. Now..." she shrugged "Try not to get killed? Try to relax and avoid some of the craziness? Everynow and then I might pick up a book." The only problem was a lot of those had ended up on fire....
Kobe nodded. "Yeah? I read a lot. I spend plenty of time of the library, actually."
"Probably not the best place for me to go." She said. Especially if someone attacked there....she'd have to use her powers.
She let a small flame appear in her hand. "Fire and books don't mix too well..."
"And it's not like I have the time anyway." she said with a shrug.
She didn't say anything then, shuffling her feet a bit uncomfortably.
He bit his lip. "You're invited to dinner anytime. It won't be as chaotic tonight."
She hesitated a minute before nodding. "Alright...Thanks. I might have to take you up on that sometime." She was debating though about whether to go. How did he know it wouldn't get crazy again? She tried to avoid that as much as she could anyway.
"Alright....thanks." She said, trying to figure out what to make of him. She hadn't really gotten a chance to talk to him before so technically was just meeting him now.
He smiled. "Sorry if Taylor bugged you a bit. She likes to talk to people."
"It's alright." Victoria gave a half smile. "She didn't bother me. I've only met her the once but she seems like a nice kid."
Kobe smiled. "She's a cure girl. So friendly."
"I noticed. She seems trusting too....wasn't expecting her to just come up and start talking. she'd barely known my ten minutes when she invited me over."
Kobe smiled. "Of course she did," he laughedm
"Does she do things like that a lot?"
"Yes. As happy as I am she's alive, I'm surprised she hasn't gotten herself hurt."
Victoria nodded. "Yeah, being that trusting it is surprising. I guess she's just been good at avoiding the OTWs."
"Yeah. She's a smart little girl," he agreed.
"How old is she anyway? She doesn't look like she could be that old."
She looks about nine, but she's twelve," he replied.
((Taylor should pop in here if she isn't busy anywhere else :)))"Well, she seems like a nice kid. I just hope her trusting nature doesn't get her in trouble one day."

As if on cue, Taylor ran up. "Kobe!" she squealed. She ran up and hugged him. "I see you found her again."

Victoria couldn't help but to smile slightly when the girl ran up. "Hey Taylor."

Man she didn't know this kid well but she was so easy to like. "You been doing okay?"

Kobe smiled. "What happened to you? You're even happier than before."
