I read this one a long time ago. Im not a big fan of the series but the first one was alright, a nice easy read.
This wasn't my favorite series in the world, but it was interesting enough to keep me enraptured enough to read the whole series and then the spin-off series. Wanted to comment so I can follow the discussion.
It is one of my top 5 fav series can't wait for the spin off Dark Artifices to come out!!!
I read this series only last month and now I am on the last book. I luv it. I enjoyed reading this series very much. Can't wait to finish it.
Just started to read this book....I'm on like 30pages :)so far so good!
It's a good series - has ups and downs. Find the early books the weaker ones, it gets better.
I read almost all of Cassandra's books,and, like all of her book,this one was amazing. I actually read it over and over again when I want to get in this type of books.

I love this book. I've read all of her shadowhunter books. I cannot wait for the Dark Artifices! I also read that she'll be writing another shadowhunter series after that one! Lots to look forward to!

I read only the first book but I can't wait to read the others :)
I actually wasn't aware these books existed. I saw the movie and then found out it was based on a book. I hated the cliffhanger ending of the movie and being the impatient person that I am, refused to wait for the second movie (if they even decide to make it...). So I bought the book (WAY better than the movie), read it at the speed of light and then devoured the rest of the series in short succession. Its not the most amazing book/series I have ever read, but it was an easy read that was very enjoyable.
Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series has been the most amazing book I have encountered and I would read it again if I have to.

I have read "The Infernal Devices," and really liked the trilogy. As of yet, this is the only one in "The Mortal Instruments" I have experienced, but I love the world Clare has created!
