I'll be reading a bit slow. I'm just starting Chapter 3 :) I love Simon's voice! It's not the type to tip me off. I don't read LGBTQ books, really, but they said this one's hilarious!

It's my first time to read an LGBTQ book as well, but the characters are all funny. I finished it this morning, it was a fun read, quite refreshing after heavy fantasy stuff :p

@Joan I agree! The only reason I wasn't able to give it a full five stars is because I thought Blue's identity was easy to pick.

Definitely! (view spoiler)[My tell-tale sign was the English exam. It was right after Simon thought of how eloquent Blue is, and Bram's perfect English paper just landed on his table. I thought for sure Simon would at least be suspicious! I still enjoyed the book though :D (hide spoiler)]

I'd personally really recommend it, Cinthia! I don't normally read a lot of hyped books because I get so disappointed, but this one lived up to the expectations.

Finished... Really liked it... All the characters were on point... I get the title... (view spoiler)[ Simon was so lucky, Bram is my new favorite gay person, I liked the part where he knew who hour to hour was because he wanted it to be Simon, I like that towards the end they weren't scared to be themselves and were ready to be out together, I didn't really like that Simon's sisters also had to keep secrets of their own from the parents because everything becomes such a big deal but I like that everything worked out in the end.. (view spoiler)[While reading, it feels like I'm reading two different stories; one about Simon and the other about Jacques. And I guess that was what the author was aiming for. I definitely makes it easier to understand why Simon is so hesitant about finding out who Blue really is, because he doesn't want the whole "worlds collide" thing to happen.

--Okay, all right, here goes. First things first: Simon? Absolutely adorable in pretty much every way possible. I want to be his friend--he seems all sorts of epic.
--Simon and Blue in email?! Be still, my flailing heart! I mean seriously, those email sections are the bread and butter to this read! I'd toast them and eat them if I could--they're just so...so...GAAAAH. I feel like we learn so much about the two characters through them, without them really saying anything personal at all.
--I'm really digging this read. I was worried, going in, that I might not like the POV. Sometimes books that are first person are written sort of diary-esque and it bothers me. Other times, such as in this case, they're written diary-esque and I LOOOOOVE them. So yes. Loving this.
--Not loving Martin, so much. He's annoying. And untrustworthy. (hide spoiler)]
