I was a bit disappointed in this book win the early chapters. But I think it was because I was looking for Pendergast, whom I totally love, and he was in prison without much participation.
Things didn't start heating up until they began planning. I won't go into it here to spoil the plot, but once Pendergast becomes prominent, it really heats up.
It's not that I was bored by the beginning, not at all. But I have to say that I hated for this book to end.

When I hate for a book to end, it's a good one.
