Question: What was used before pumpkins to make jack o'lanterns?Answer: The Irish, who started the tradition, first used potatoes and turnips for jack o'lanterns before finding that pumpkins were actually much easier to carve. In England, large beets were sometimes used.

Plus werewolves are scarier"
I think it depends on what type of vampire or werewolf. ( for example Twilight vampire or Dracula).
lol i mean i really like lupin from harry potter... other than that haven't read a bunch of books with werewolves, although there are plenty of books with good hybrid wolf/humans in it (lunar chronicles?)
Audrey wrote: "Vampires are hotter?"Not if your going with Nosferatu vampires.
The aptly-named Nosferatu clan from Vampire: The Masquerade and its spin-off TV series, Kindred: The Embraced. Their curse is hideous looks, no matter how pretty they used to be as mortal humans.

Probably the great tree of Avalon. I loved the lost years of Merlin series, but this one was kind of a letdown… shouldn’t have bought all three books lol
For me definitely Pineapple Street by Jenny Jacksonliterally only bought it for the nice cover and wanted to try a contemporary again but it was not my cup of tea... was boring and I didn't care for what happened to any character

yeah i was like "oh it's ok" to the first book, then it progressively didn't go anywhere in the 2nd, but i already bought all three so i felt obliged to read it lolll

Ooh I have a love-hate relationship with the Gone series. It seems kind of stupid sometimes but I can’t stop reading-
