Brandon | 3 comments In Los Angeles, it's a toss up between Dutton's and Village Books in the Palisades.

I prefer not to climb over 80 year-olds in order to get down an aisle. Even when you try to get out of each other's way, there's no space to go. It's like driving on a one-lane that's now used as a two-way, but there's no shoulder and someone eventually has to reverse until there's some room.

Patrick | 3 comments I find Acres of Books in Long Beach to be very cramped. Ton of books but narrow aisles and some really high shelves. Plus the building looks like it will fall down any day now.

Liz There is a little used bookstore on Dauphine Street in New Orleans. It is so packed full that you can barely walk between the stacks of books. I actually loved it!
