Kasia Solid list :)

...Moloka'i by Alan Brennert... I've been trying to get my hands on that one for a while now, yet no success. No plans to give up either. So, is it any good?

I loved Moloka'i! It is very good. I passed it on to my mom after I finished and she loved it too. Alan Brennert just released another book a couple of weeks ago, Honolulu, that I want to read too.

Unapologetic_Bookaholic | 1986 comments How did you like All night all and Falling Awake by JAK? I like Jane but find it hard to buy books based on the blurbs. I know I will like her but I'd would like to hear other opinions.

I enjoyed both books a lot, Kenjii. All Night Long was the first JAK book I had ever read and it was really good. Falling Awake was my Pick-it-for-me book for March and it was also pretty good. I am really looking forward to reading more of her books in the future. I especially want to read her Arcane Society series that she writes as JAK and Amanda Quick.

Unapologetic_Bookaholic | 1986 comments Well I think if I pick/get of her books I can't go wrong then =). The couple I have read I have liked.

I am reading After Glow and like it. She is writing as Jayne Castle. Thanks for your reply!

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments JAK is pretty much an auto-read for me, no matter which romantic sub-genre she is writing: contemporary, historical or futuristic. I like her Arcance Society series and also her Harmony sci-fi series (the one with the dustbunnies) the best.

However, I would also read any stand-alone book of hers.

Unapologetic_Bookaholic | 1986 comments Yz: I am reading the Harmony series. I am on After Glow. I skipped book 1 thinking I had read it (or part of it). From the novella containing a story about the Harmony series. No biggie. I will go back and read it later. I can follow it OK. I am pretty sure I'd like her historical s. Which historical by JAK (any pen name lol) was/is your favorite?

Yz the Whyz (whyz) | 9327 comments Hmm..it's been awhile since I read an Amanda Quick(that's her pen name for her historicals..I have to check my list and see which one comes to mind...) I have to admit it has been a while since I touched a regular historical romance...not with all this PNR books I'm reading..LOL

The last historical I read was a Sylvia Day book, and I got that on impulse just because I like the blurb and the guy on the cover was HOT...LOL..see how shallow I can be..But it turned out to be a great book.

Unapologetic_Bookaholic | 1986 comments Well even the first historical I liked had a PN twist. The Wild Wulfs of London series. I liked the setting and wonder if I'd like a normal lord and lady historical. Ya know?

I try and resist the covers, sometimes, so hard. Hehe.
