A ship is like a One True Pair. It's when you see a couple on a tv show, movie or book and you think they should go out. For example, many are "shipping" Filli & Kili. Which means that they think they should go out, regardless of the weirdness of them being together, because they're brothers.

It is, I was...horrified. I figured out why it took so long, though. They wrote an entirely new plot.
