characters from lady of hay?

I read Lady of Hay awhile ago and I have just started this one. Am I supposed to recognize any characters fro Lady of Hay bc I don't yet? I ask the sae question of Child of the Phoenix? I have read in some places on-line that these 3 books are a trilogy but then some other places online don't mention anything. Thanks!

There's the odd tiny link, but I wouldn't say there's a trilogy of books. You don't mention a third book by the way, so I'm not sure which books you are referring to.
