Jane ran in her tiger form as fast as she could through the forest
She stopped and changed back, she smiled 'Sorry'
She kissed him back harder and wrapping her arms around his neck
She laughed 'True...it's great' she smiled
She kissed him softly 'Lets go' she smiled
Aidan had a ride. He just had to get to it. He swung and then dropped into a dead run.Renee ran after, her eyes full of dark rage.
Jace drops down landing right in front of Aidan and trips him.
Pulling out a gun Aidan smirked and shot Jace in the wing, doing a snap kick.
Aidan smiled cruelly, "How's that," he spit, and aimed for a tree near Renee. Renee's leg had the bullet graze it. She saw Jace's wing and her eyes widened, running faster.
Jace winces and grabs aidan before he could run away and throws him at a tree breaking his arm.
Aidan let out a cry of pain. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a girl in a car drove straight toward Jace and Aidan. She swung a door open, her blond hair starting to whirl as she swung Aidan into the car.He shut the door, shooting at Jace but missing wildly.
Renee ran towards Jace, her sleek wolf form straining. Her leg hurt, a lot.
She headed took grab of Jace's shirt and pulled him away from their path, behind a fallen tree, even breathing hard.
Jace examines his wing and flaps it once and winces "its not that bad" he says
The wolf gave him a pointed look. She couldn't tell if he was lying or not. She tried to shift back and whimpered. She hated this!
Jace looks at her then folds in his wings "you okay?"
Renee growled at him, putting her head in her paws. She used a paw and shook it. The gesture was clear, "You can go."Shift! Come on!
She was completely ashamed, embarrassed.
Jace stands up and looks at her "do you need help?" he asks
Renee would've thought this was comical if it wasn't she who was the wolf. She gave him a look and was sure her eyes delivered it. How can you help? Do you know a way for me to shift back?It was stupid, how was he suppose to know, but she wish he did. She hated being stuck in wolf form sometimes.
Jace shrugs and picks her up and heads for her car.
Renee's eyes widened if that could've happened. Angelboy was carrying a wolf. Totally normal. She let out a small growl. Now, if that could even happen, I've reached the height of my embarrassment.
Jace looks at her and smiles "growl all you want" he jokes
Renee wished she was human so she could toss him to a tree or something. She didn't release another growl but her wolf form was tense. She wouldn't dare give him satisfaction by relaxing. Her eyes glanced to his wings, especially the one that was injured.
Jace follows her gaze "there fine" he says and keeps walking
She shook her head as if to say, "Liar," she could tell by the way his shoulder strained since she had a good view of it, by the way he was holding her.
She relaxed in his arms then, focusing hard. This was going to take a lot out of her. She tried to calm her being, and then suddenly, Renee was human, weak, but human. She sighed relieved and smiled faintly, "I did it for once." Her eyes closed slightly, exhausted.
Jace stops and looks at her "do you still want to be carried or no" he jokes.
She bit her lip. Renee knew she was weak but if she said she wanted to be carried, he would've thought she was playing. If she said no, the minute she tried to walk, she'd fall face-first into the dirt.But her ego said go with the latter.
"I can walk," she lied smoothly, her eyes flickering gold.
Jace grins "you sure" he says and gently sets her down
"Totally," she smiled faintly as she steadied herself. I could so... and then the next thing she knew, she was trying to push herself up from the dirt, brushing the dry crumbs off her face growling. Cursing, she stood but felt her legs wobble.One of the disadvantages to being me, she sourly thought.
She didn't dare look at Jace as she tried to steady herself. Her cheeks grew hot.
Jace smiles and then picks her up again "Looks like you're not ready" he says and heads for the car again.
She muttered under her breath as she felt the ground leave her and as she went into his arms. She rested her head against his chest, having no more energy or fight left in her. Renee could hear his heartbeat.
Jace walks out of the woods and sees her car then looks down and smiles when he sees her eyes closing and thinks she's about to fall asleep.
And she did. Renee's fingers stopped drumming on her stomach. The rest had already started to help her gain back her strength.
Jace opens the car while holding Renee with one arm and gently slides her into the passenger seat then goes around and gets in the driver seat and thinks 'crap where are the keys'.
Renee was still dreaming but she was half awake. She muttered in Latin where the keys were, which were in her jacket pocket. Then slipped away back into oblivion.
Jace looks at Renee and thinks 'there probably in one of her pockets" he gently reaches over and slides his hand in to her first pocket "not there" he mutters and tries the next pocket and feels the keys he takes them and turns on the car then heads towards the dorms.
