Owen's Father

Owen's father appears more and in different ways. What do you think of him? Were you glad of his involvement?

I wasn't sure about him at first (if you're talking about Boreas), but he really came through for the Snow family (har har when you think about that literally!). Having read West of Want, he played a part in that too and I liked him even more. Definitely a good "god" figure who still manages to be a father without losing his royal feel.

I felt that he was a good father figure for Owen, made him a bit more likable. Still a tad bit corny for my taste but overall I am glad that there was substance such as himself to make the book a tad bit more palatable.
