Hi! I'm Jean from Southern Georgian transplanted from the Chicago area. I love books and have too many. I enjoy mysteries and thrillers but read many other genres as well. My favorite author is James Lee Burke. My other favorite mystery/thriller authors are Michael Connelly, Sue Grafton, Sarah Paretsky, Nicci French, Randy Wayne White and many others. With the success of the Dragon Tattoo series I have been reading many foreign authors like James Thompson, Jo Nesbo, Giles Blunt, Louise Penny, Michael Robotham, Cara Black, and Henning Mankell to name a few. I just finished "Blood Moon" by Garry Disher that is Australian and am currently reading Denise Mina from Scotland. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hello Everyone,My name is Jamie Sheffield, and I'm an avid reader and relatively new writer. I live in the woods in the middle of the Adirondack Park in Northern New York, and am a public school teacher. I like reading all sorts of books, but find that I focus mainly on mysteries and science fiction.

Hello there, everyone! I'm from the British Virgin Islands where I grew up reading the Bobsey Twins and Fab Five (among other books) then graduated to Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. Mysteries and thrillers remain my favourite genres.Some of my favourite authors are Dennis Lehane, Sara Paretski, Walter Mosley and Ian Rankin.
I'm also a writer and my collection of short crime fiction, Storm Warning, is set in the Caribbean and will be out next month.
