Okay so this I didn't expect...Truce is turning out to be darker than 'Broken City' I think that maybe it has something to do with Deeta not being the narrator for the whole story.

Not at all, Elle! ;-P
Besides, you have a life too!!!
Oh. My. Goodness!I've just had a VERY unexpected turn in Truce, it won't make a huge difference to book 2 but it will change EVERYTHING in book 3!!!

I'm sooooo close to the end!!! I just have to stop getting too excited and take my time with it.
Just done my first 1000 words since I came down with the flu. Not sure if any of them made any sense though...
So I'm already getting stuck in to 'The Vow', it's a bit strange and I'm having to get used to everyone again. I can't believe how much I missed Rafe, Adele and Finan, it's been fun getting back into their heads. Also I've just introduced Rafe's mother and sisters in to the story properly. Esme and Aisly will have big parts in the stories as the series goes on so building up their characters is really exciting.
And to finish: I've just had a huge brain wave (you might have felt the after shocks!!!) and it's going to make such a big difference to the stories! It concerns on of the new characters but that's all I'm going to tell you! ;-P
Not checked in for a while. I had to have a break from writing because I went and got sick, but now I'm back on track... sort of.
I still have flu brain and my throat is still unbearable but I am able to stay vertical in a chair for a few hours at a time. I haven't quite gotten to the do anything stage yet but I am slowly getting there.

I think you might need to sit down with a plate of brownies, hug a fluffy pillow and watch 'Thor'.
I'm giving poor old Finan a hard time at the moment. I feel bad about it, he's so nice it's kind of like kicking a puppy: wrong on so many levels.
15.000 words in to 'The Vow'!!! *pompom dance*
And finally Finan is (reluctantly!) starting to turn in to a romantic hero!!!
Phew! He had me a little worried for a while there, but I'm gradually talking him round!!! ;-P
Louise-Lesley (Elle) wrote: "My apologies for not being here with pompoms!!"You are forgiven for having a life that does not revolve around my books!!! Lol!!!
How have you been doing, Elle???
Lol :)I'm good. Well.. yes, actually, I would say I was good enough!
I had a weird dream last night that you were a secret duchess and you had a party at your mansion...

O.O
How did you know?!?!?!?
My cover is blown!!!!
Ha, I don't think in my dream I actually got to see you as your bodyguard was stopping me from entering as I hadn't the right shoes on!
