Self Challenge: 3 books in 12 Months.
I'm here to report another good day of writing, Elle!!! Had an unexpected plot twist happen today, I think (hope!) it will make the story run much smoother.I'm DYING to spill the beans about what's going on, but I'm going to stay strong!!!

Still on track!I'm now right in the thick of the plot: Deeta's in trouble, the Andaks are in trouble, the Marshals are in trouble: everyone's in trouble!!!

Still on track, just written a fight scene and I always get a little bit nervous with fight scenes. Poor old Ralph lost his cool and tensions are high, Robin's had to act as peacemaker.

The first rule I have for fight scenes is to ask how competent/trained are the fighters.
If neither are trained then there is going to be a lot of posturing and both are going to end up a bit messed up, but there's probably as much dialogue as action. With this sort of thing you could have a lot of fun with your dialogue
If both are trained then it's going to be a bit slow until there is some rapid action which will end with one of them out of it or both still on their feet, still circling the other. They are unlikely to waste any breath in talking
If only one is trained it will end very quickly, and badly for the one who isn't

Both are VERY well trained, but the fight is between friends and is a outlet for worry and hurt. So only one of them actually wants to fight.

I'm very proud to announce that I have just finished my 1000 words for today an I am now 40.000 words in to 'Truce'!!!
