Everyone walked, or in Monica's case, skipped into the forest.
The teacher finally stopped in a large clearing, announcing that they would be playing capture the flag.
"YES!" Monica yelled. Everyone, including the teacher, stared at her. She felt her cheeks turn a rosy pink.
Max turned to a human and raised his hand quickly, trying to take the stares off Monica. "Where is the boundary line?" he asked.
"Ya. And what are the teams?" Monica added. "First the rules." He paced back and forth.
"There are no cross team partnerships. If you do so you will be disqualified." said Glen.
Monica nodded. "So, what are the teams, then? What species team and which are enemies?" She asked impatiently.
"The line is right here," he pointed to a small ditch in the middle of the clearing, "if you cross to the other side, you can get attacked." Glen said. "The teams are as follows: mermaids, werewolves, fairies, and zombies on this side," he pointed to the side on his right, "angels, demons, vampires, and monsters on this side. I don't want to see any complaining about the teams," he said this glaring at the angels and demons, "humans, split yourselves up between the groups equally." Max quickly got on Miranda's side.
Just before the game started melody scrambled to her teams side, waiting for the que.
Monica watched Melody scramble onto her side. They had been friends since she arrived at camp. Although Monica was much younger then her, they got along fine. "Haha, we are going to dominate." Monica took off her jacket, her wings fluttering to life. She hovered above Max.
Max morphed back to a panther and watched the other team carefully.
Melody playfully winked at Monica, and laughed. Atleast I have one friend. She thinks to herself.
Max wasn't quite sure how to attack in this situation. He was counting on some fighting between the angels and demons, though.
Even though these fights can get crazy, a lot of the time people don't fight me. Melody thought to herself. She relaxed a little.
Just then she noticed someone eyeing her. She quickly got back into battle stance. "Why did I even come to the game." Melody muttered.
The person eyeing her looked like a werewolf or a human. It could be anything. She prepared herself.
Monica winked back, and giggled. She was going down!!
Max prepared himself as the game began.
Out of the corner of melody's eye she saw someone lunge at her.
It was someone from the other team, so she tried to attack him.
Max laid back in the shadows, searching for an opening.
Melody couldn't help it. She grinned.
One of Max's teammates ran across to the other side, distracting some and creating Max's chance. He bolted across the field towards the flag.
Melody notices someone racing towards their flag. She trips over herself to get to him.
Monica flitted above the trees, scouting for the other teams flag.
Melody planted her feet in front of the boy, and tried her best to attack him. He was really good though.
Then melody realized something... He was that panther guy Monica hung around.
Max saw someone coming for him, and he darted around her quickly trying to dodge her attack.
Man he's good! Melody thought as she practically had to run around in circles to even come close to him.
Every time melody swiped at him he somehow dodged!
Max saw his chance, and dashed for the flag.
Max launched himself at the flag, but was knocked back by something.
Monica saw max, and pelted herself at the flag, her arms outstretched.
Two people collide with a sickening thud.
Melody realized it was Monica that hit the panther.
"Dang it!" Monica exclaimed. "Sorry Max." She stood up and dusted herself off. Melody was running towards her, and she leapt off the ground, her wings fluttering open. She soared just out of reach.
Max said nothing but went to snag the flag.
Melody clumsily tried to hit him on the back which earned her the privilege of getting flipped over onto her backside."uuuuggg" she moaned.

((Thx)) Max grabbed the flag and started to race back to his side.
Monica flew after him, cackling with laughter. "We are so going to win!!" She squealed.
Just then, a demon raced after him. He ran faster and faster, weaving in and out of trees.
Max was so fast, Monica had trouble keeping up. And she could fly. She dodged fast tall trees, and avoided branches. She saw a demon chasing max onto their side. She plummeted to the ground, and dropped on top of him. "Gotcha!"
Max's legs were starting to burn, but he didn't stop as he crossed the line. He loved being a cat, because he could run so fast.
Melody couldn't help it, she hated losing. She closed her eyes and focused all energy on max, willing his thoughts to come towards her. "Come on." She whispered desperately to herself.
