Banjomike | 5530 comments I've noticed that a number of Sookie Stackhouse editions have been the victims of repeated cover changes. I've reverted one of the editions to the editions original cover (which was on the record for 30 months with no complaints), 3 changes over 2 months reversing each other, and left what might be termed a 'shirty' librarian note.

http://www.goodreads.com/book/edit/76...

"Cover image reverted to one that was originally on this book record. If you own or have seen an edition with the same ISBN, 9780575089402, but with a different cover then you should create an alternate cover edition as described in the manual."

Does anyone think this is excessive?

The note? No, I think it's appropriate for any book that keeps having its cover changed.

Rats, yes, the note. I hadn't noticed that it read both ways.

OK. As long as we are happy I'll check to see how many other editions can be similarly rolled back. Being Sookie there are only a few thousand editions.
