Ooh some good ones in there! I just realised I can't participate because I don't have enough old TBRs lol! I run a tight ship on my to-read list :)

message 17: by Tana (new)

Tana (tana_t) omg David I wish I could be that way, I am looking through my tbr list and there are so many I am struggling which one to read, never mind picking 4 or 5. but my ADD kicks in and its like confusing me so many books so little time. lol

message 18: by Donna (new)

Donna (donanicole) | 897 comments I have so many books on my Kindle to read already. And because I don't really know how to post in the proper subject, I want to say that I both do like cliffhangers in serials (makes me look forward to next book) and don't like cliffhangers in serials(I have to reread the last book in series to catch up/remind me what happened and where I am at). I would just like to say that one duo of writers does give a short summary of where the story is previously when they put out a new edition to their serials. These authors are very creative and do write a YA series as well. The authors are Sean Platt and David Wright who wrote the YA novel Fornevermore and I can't wait for the next in that series. You may know them as the writers of Yesterday's Gone or the Amazon Kindle Series Z 2132 or Monstrous.
Anyway, I would appreciate a small update/summary when many months or a year later the authors of serials put out their next offering in the same series, so I don't have to reread the last one. Any thoughts?

Hey Catherine. I was thinking the same thing, since I've only been on Goodreads a month or so, but then I reread the challenge. It looks like you can use any books that you have owned (eReader or physical copy) for 6 months or more, as well as anything on your Goodreads to read shelf for 6 months or more.

And because I'm anal, I keep taking books off whenever my TBR shelf feels overwhelming and put them back on later... I'm constantly sorting through my TBR list. I'm going to go with, "if I had left my TBR shelf alone, this one would have been on it!". ;-)

David, I think that's how you and I are going to be able to participate.
