The Kitchen

Chanel entered the kitchen with baby Laura in her arms. All the tension from the Den seemed to ease off her immediately. She sat down at one of the chairs and looked down at baby Laura's sweet face. She was instantly calm, and a smile crept to her lips.

Laura woke up and began to cry as she was hungry. She looked up at Chanel as she cried.

Rosemary came in and heard Laura's crying. She quickly made a bottle up for the baby "Would you like to feed her Chanel?" Rosemary asked while testing the tempature of the milk.

Johnny hugged Gage tightly.

Johnny grinned and shook his head which was still soaking wet from swimming.

Johnny smiled up at Gage. "Thank you."

Johnny grinned then climbed onto Gage's back.

Rosemary heard Gage swearing when he walked in. She gave him a stern look "Please don't swear around Laura Gage" She requested.

Johnny climbed down and reached into his pocket for his inhailer. "F*CK!" He yelled at the top of his lungs.

Johnny smiled up at Gage.

Rosemary sighed in annoyance as Laura began to scream. Rosemary took Laura out of Chanel's arms. "Johnny look what you did" Rosemary said while soothing Laura.

Chanel nodded to Rosemary, taking the bottle and feeding Laura.Then, her jaw dropped when she heard Johnny scream his curse word.
"Johnny!" she said, "Please don't say that again, sweetie."

"Look, I just don't want him to be cursing, okay? What do you think his mother would say if she heard that?" Chanel asked. She turned to Johnny.
"Look, sweetie. I'm not going trying to yell at you or anything, but please don't say those words again. I may not yell at you, but your mommy will. Okay?" she said to him.

[Cait Sith]

Johnny pouted and looked down, at the floor. He sniffled. "S-sowwy."

Laura finally calmed down and fell back asleep.

Rosemary turned to Gage "Please enlighten me as to why its not his fault if he chose to yell a swear word after I said not to swear" Rosemary challenged while semi glaring at Gage.

Chanel held Laura tight as she began to settle. She knelt down beside Johnny.
"Oh, Johnny. Please don't be angry with me. I just don't want you to get in trouble with Mommy. Okay?" she asked, looking deep into his cute little eyes.

Johnny reached out to hug her.

Chanel hugged Johnny back.

"I'm taking Laura for a walk" Rosemary said and picked Laura up out of Chanel's arms. "And thank you for helping out Chanel" Rosemary added and left the kitchen.

Johnny hugged Chanel. He stopped crying.

Johnny watched her leave. "F*CK OFF WHORE!!!" He screamed at her.

"Bye, Rosemary! I'll see you later," Chanel called after her. Then, she pulled away from Johnny and wiped his tears.
"How about we go get some ice cream or something? My treat. And if it makes you feel any better, Gage can come too. How does that sound?" she asked him.

"Johnny! What did I just say? That's not very nice. Why did you say that to her?" Chanel asked, not sure if she was angry or sad that Johnny had said such things to Rosemary. She wondered where he was even learning all these words.

Johnny fell on his butt and started backing away from her. He looked scared.

"No, Johnny. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you. Just, tell me one thing." Chanel whispered the last part, keeping her distance as to not freak out Johnny more.
"Where are you hearing these words?" she asked gently.

[Cait Sith]

Johnny looked up at her. "Fwom tv."

Chanel's jaw almost dropped. She would have to talk to her aunt about that later.
"Okay, well. How about that ice cream? With Gage too?" Chanel suggested with a kind smile.

Chanel sighed, feeling that she had pushed Johnny a little off the edge. She stood up straight and looked at Gage.
"Do you wanna drive there, or should I?" she asked him.

Johnny grinned.

"Alright," Chanel agreed with a smile. "To the garage!" she said as she headed out of the kitchen with her car keys.
