Merry Christmas!!

I was trying to sort and merge works by Vitaly Shentalinsky and don't know which should be the author name. We usually use the English form, but in this case, if we go to Library of Congress or Worldcat, all his works appear under Vitaliĭ Shentalinskiĭ...

So which name should I use for the author?

I would put Vitaly Shentalinsky in the primary position on all editions,

then use Vitaliĭ Shentalinskiĭ on the appropriate editions in the secondary position
