Thanks for setting this thread up Scott.... great idea!

The Golden Scarab (The Quest Series, #1) by S.W. Lothian The Golden Scarab is almost free .... it's ON SALE for $0.99 at Amazon until Christmas.
It's the perfect last minute gift for someone special, or a new gift Kindle filler.

Great for ages 9-12 (and their folks too)

It's a fast and exciting middle grade time-travel adventure that's sure to knock your socks off. Try putting Percy Jackson, Matthew Reilly, Indiana Jones and Harry Potter in a blender ... you get The Quest Series (The Golden Scarab is book 1 of the series).

Please drop by and grab a copy for yourself, and one for everyone that you know.

If you do, please leave a review once you have read it .... I would really love to hear your thoughts.... and then (if you love it) please spread the word and tell everyone about my book.

It's a big world of books out there and mine is just one in the ocean .... please give it a try.

Even after the sale is over, it's still a bargain that costs less than a burger, and it won't give you heartburn!

For those who aren't into the ereader thing, the paperback has recently been relaunched and is available at Createspace and Amazon.

It's a great read (I am biased) which has plenty of action, adventure, mystery and humor. Who knows, you may discover that it's your new favorite series.

And as Steve said above, we would love a review if you enjoy it so in the words of the unfortunately famous for wearing white full bodied jumpsuits, " Take a chance on me/us" lol,

I hope you enjoy.

Cheers Julie

Robert Tabb (Robert_C_Tabb) | 83 comments Scott,

Thanks indeed for setting this up. My middle grade work, The Glass Collectors, set in 1989 and centering around the events that unfold around and because Emerson Watts devises a plan to make his mom a set of candleholders out of broken pieces of glass will be on sale for 99 CENTS until the end of the year.

A feel-good, Christmas story, The Glass Collectors was recently received a detailed review on

I am also offering my short story, Correspondences with Claus: The Rapid Rising Robot for free from December 25-29. When Willie Zuber asks for a unique robot for Christmas, Santa honors his request. What happens afterward is detailed in the correspondences between Zuber, Claus and the elf responsible for making the continuously growing gift.

Well, I loved Gasparilla's Treasure and reviewed it on Goodreads a while back!

My 4th book, The Traveler in Black and White is FREE on Amazon on 26th and 27th December. It's the 4th in the series but a prequel. I reckon it's PG-13. Lord Mariusz of Hattan tells how he found the time tunnel and his adventures down the other end. Murder, mystery, vampires and a mysterious castle full of females...

In the spirit of Christmas, you can get the first book in the series, The Princelings of the East, FREE on Smashwords using this coupon code, AW84Y, but only till 31st December. It's suitable for 8 upwards with good reading levels.

Note: My books are usually in UK English, but Mariusz's tales are in US English.

Hardware - The Trouble with Phillip

Amazon link is here...

Ages 10-14,
Horse, Mystery

I write complicated, nerdy mysteries that appeal to kids that like history and science with their horse books. No pre-teen angst or drama. Somehow very popular with home schoolers.

"Dick Francis for kids."

Sally Harris (sallyharris) | 46 comments If you've got a reluctant reader or your kids love to laugh at books by Andy Griffiths, David Walliams and Roald Dahl then they'll love Diary of a Penguin-napper! Only 99c for Kindle right now - don't miss out as it goes up to $1.99 for 2013.

Check it out:

I hope you enjoy it and I'd love a review if you get a chance :)
